Predictions 2009

Astrological Prediction:

Pluto has completed a 13 yr cycle in Sagittarius and is now in Capricorn. Pluto and Capricorn are changing whole paradigm of our system. There has been a major breakdown of our financial system. There have been many getting rich from not being honest and being greedy. Anything not being done on moral or ethical standards will soon crumble. Capricorn will stay until 2024.

Pluto and Capricorn energy is ruled by Saturn. We will have checks and balances and have a government that is going to be doing deep cleansing in the banking government institutions and they will have to be accountable. Pluto and Capricorn cause realization that materialism can be pulled out from under us.

Message from Pluto and Capricorn is: Only that which is built upon integrity and is ethical will remain viable in our society and everything else that is not in line of true integrity will start to crumble.

There are three periods of these signs. The first period is Sagittarius and Uranus opposites are going on and that invites change. It is time to change structures in our lives that have outlived their time. The exact day this first occurred was on Election Day – Nov 3.

2nd period will be in the first week of February. There will be change in our government, the way people look at government, and how they will relate to the world around them. Last time this happened was 40 yrs ago when we had the radical change in the 60’s where women burned their bras, had babies out of wedlock, LSD, and protest of the draft in Vietnam. Before that there were the Roaring 20s where there was women suffrage, the stock market crash then boom again, and the flue epidemic.

3rd period will be the middle 2 weeks of September.

We will go back to a more traditional and moralistic society. We will honor and respect our elders. Classical music will come back. There will be more control on explicit sexual things on TV. There will be more strict laws and penalties for child sexual abusers. There will be less couples living together and move more respect for the sanctity of marriage.

Political: Obama takes his inauguration and between now and February or March, Jupiter will be in Aquarius. Obama’s chart will be touched beneficially. This means inauguration day and 6 wks after that will be a big euphoria about people coming together on a global level for universal good and love and promoting change. People will be very receptive to his ideas. There will possibly be a mini revolution because people are so tired of things going on and people don’t want to put up with as much as they did the past 13 years in our government. The honeymoon period with Obama will last for 6 months. Reality with Pluto in Capricorn, the economic trends under Bush administration can’t be reversed immediately. Obama will do the best he can but it will be a long time before we see the changes we want. Between now and the middle of 2010, more truth will come out about 9/11. When it does, the American people will be very angry.

In November, there is going to be a Sagittarius/Pluto square which will have a severe impact on Obama’s, Joe Biden’s, and the US chart. Obama’s life will be threatened many times and in November they will need to take more precaution. Around that time Pluto is in opposition to his natal, Venus. This means that a lot of times there could be some kind of take over, a kidnapping, some kind of forces regarding his children.

We are getting closer to structures coming into place. Under Obama’s leadership, money that was taken by our government will be distributed back to the American people in 2009 or 2010. There will be less money exchanged because there are still dark agendas out there under government control. They will try to force us into a cashless society where we will use only debit or credit cards. The government wants to control all you do.

There are light forces coming in and dark forces going out but still there will be a lot of monitoring going on. This is being done through your new TV sets, our drivers license, phones, etc.

We will get back to natural organic food and learn to live on our own – self sufficient. Hybrid cars are coming back and forcing car manufacturers to get the electric cars out. Capricorn rules land and Pluto rules people. We will have elected officials that are in positions of government and Congress that are very much light beings that will do the right thing in Congress to protect our planet. Laws passed, etc to protect planet.

2008 was an uncomfortable year. Material sense of who we were was pulled out from under us.

2009 is where we will find our Spirit strength and find our passion. We may find it because we lost our jobs. We will find something better and find our passions in life. We’ll find we will grow spiritually and learn from this materialistic house cleaning. We’ll learn how we can live with less. Families are bonding more. People realize material things come and go but true friends and family are true happiness.

The Economy. We are still contracting and shrinking but we are very close to turning the corner. Metaphor: Like the earth moving in orbit around the Sun, the people in Kansas City see the sun set early and rise later until finally the earth moves to a place in orbit around the sun when the days stop getting shorter and then begin to get longer. There is a pause when nothing seems to be happening but the days are not getting shorter. Then, imperceptibly at first, the days lengthen. So it will be with the economy. We probably won’t notice when the contraction stops and then in late 2009 or early 2010, there will be a report that says the economy actually turned the corner in early 2009.

When will this happen? Some time in the next three months out to April 2009.

When will the signs of the recovery like housing begin to appear? The housing market will take longer. It was at the center of the problem. So more damage was done and everyone will be very cautious. It will not boom again.

It will recover but we have to find balance again with our values. We put value in dollars and things and we have to find value in our being. We have to value who we are and not what we have. House values may come down and not recover to where they were which may appear negative but in fact they are righting themselves. I think housing will take until September of 2009 for us to begin to feel comfortable.

Housing. I see that community will be an important factor and desirable when it comes to housing values recovering. Intangible factors will become important in making housing desirable to purchase. Before the bubble burst, the most important factor was a dollar number. The recovery in housing will recover the value of intangibles, especially in the communities where those houses are found. More effort, will be put into maintaining community.

Jobs. Late in 2009, the job contraction will halt and will stay steady and slowly increase. This will happen in October 2009.

Christmas Spending/Shopping. There will be some improvement. No one will be raving but a quiet confidence will result.

The Stock Market. The market will come back but with much caution. There will be more investment in foreign countries. There was so much money available before that investors took more risks. It will take about 2 years for the market to feel like it has recovered. It will steady late in 2009 and if you are an investor you may have to spend more effort to make money. It will take until 2010 for real confidence to return.

Power. Power is related to our own personal power. As each person’s personal power grows so will the sources of power grow for people to do what they need.

Electricity as a power source will be more prominent in 2009. Electric utilities will begin testing on a trial basis the development of individualized alternative energy producing equipment at the homeowner’s site. In other words, the electric utility will place solar and/or wind generating equipment at your house. There will not be a whole sale switch over. It’s an idea that will be discussed.  Many will try to determine if it is feasible.

The price of oil will continue to go up as OPEC figures out ways to control it and limit it. To bring the price down, new oil resources must be found. There are more reserves to be discovered but they will not be found in 2009; however, when they are, it will be in the polar regions.

Israel, Hamas, Middle East Israel must change its tactics. It is not viewed as the victim. It must see the Palestinians as a group that has growing pains and must pick a new tactic to make the Palestinians feel comfortable enough not to want to strike out at them. They must view them as an estranged brother and work to make peace with them.

They must show Hamas in Gaza and the people of Gaza how to do it through actions in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Will Israel change tactics in 2009? Yes after their elections they will make new new efforts to work out peace.

Anything Good in 2009 A couple of ice skaters will become the darlings of the US and followed. We will do this as a break from all the day to day stresses.

Kansas City Chiefs. Herm Edwards will be the head coach for the next season. He will remain with the chief in some capacity even if not as the head coach.

Chiefs record next season: 4 wins, 8 losses.

With numerology, 2009 = 11, a master number.

2009 is a time for review and mastering your lessons you’ve been working on for the last few years and moving forward. New Years Eve was a new moon. Combining that with 11 for 2009 show this is a year of reviewing lessons we learned, putting what we learned into process, process that into growth, and using lessons to move in new direction.

We are already beginning to see change. 2010 is # 3 in numerology. Same number as 2001. Be prepared for whatever might come in 2010.

Weather:
Kansas City will have a big snow storm the 3rd week of Feb. Less than 6”.

A lot of wind until June. This is blowing out the last of our problems and old way of thinking so we can bring in the new. May is beautiful. Summer is normal and in Aug. there may be 2 days of 100 deg. Hot and dry. September KC will have a possible category 2 tornado with some damage and it goes thru a part of Independence.

Gas Prices:
Economy gas prices will not go over $2.50 this summer. The biggest problem will be for the Arabs to rebuild some trust and they start cutting the price. There may be a problem w/China trying to take over.

Jobs:
May be one more major store go out. Like Pets Mart or a pet place and a few of car places. Other than that, new businesses will be coming into KC mostly in the entertainment-sports field. Health field is a good field for new jobs. They will try to cap the health field but won’t pass this year. Focus will be on prevention of disease.

Stock Market:
People start to realize it is lottery or gambling with money and it will continue to go up/down/up down. Once people relax and ignore hype and media then things will go smoother.

Market itself - While Washington DC is looking more global economy, KC and other cities like us will stay more towards self reliance to make sure we have everything we need. We will do more sharing of working together and finding each other jobs so we can get our own city put back together in the direction it is supposed to go.

Obama:
One point is if he doesn’t give up his blackberry there is a good chance of kidnapping attempt of his children. They will be able to get a direct line to his cell phone and to some of his other email. Honeymoon period of 6 mos – until June. After that, there will be a clamoring of jobs promised, and some things need to move forward. He has to many ideas from different directions and needs to learn how to blend them together.

New Toys vs Old Toys:
Computer companies will be using this time to come up with new ideas and innovations on how to use their computer. People are trimming back on energy and instead of using their computer to save electricity, they will go with more physical activity such as playing outdoors. Things like new bikes, skates, board games, etc will come back. If you want to invent something now, education will be # 1. Educational toys w/o electronics in them. Inventing something solar or wind powered to incorporate energy would go real well.

Environment:
The earth can take care of itself and break down anything that comes in, but watch the water and air.

MOTTO for 2009 - “Live and let live but with common sense.”

You are not to hold back because of what is going on around you, but use common sense to move forward with whatever it is you want in life.

Words for 2009 BE BOLD Go for your dreams this year.

Bold means be courageous, be steadfast, be not afraid to pursue your dreams. We have hit rock bottom. Only place to go is up. Don’t let news media frighten you. You have 2 choices. Be bold or be a woos. A woos will have a horrible year. Those of us who are bold and changing direction will not. Follow your hearts desires and intuition and the universe will give it to you. We have been so stuck on ourselves that we have lost our sense of unity and oneness. Embrace the change. You asked for it and you are going to get it. This is the upside of a rollercoaster. Hang on and enjoy the ride. Not speaking in religious sense, but you’ve got to have faith. That’s not your religion that is the truth of it – believing in yourself and acting on it.

Card that keeps coming up again and again for this year is “hidden forces”. There are things in play right now, whether it be astrological, cosmically, spiritually, that are beyond our individual control. If you try to fight it and resist it you will be hurting really bad. Those stuck in the mindset of me, me, me, and not about anyone else are the ones that cause resistance in the cause of pain. You got to wake and smell the coffee. This is the time to do it. Politically we are moving into this fabulous time period. Honeymoon phase 6 months and then it is realized that we have to work for this. Anyone living thru the depression will tell you we have to work for it. We have to find again the sense of traditional value and one is work ethic.

This year will be the beginning of the rise of the mom and pop shops. Now is the time to open a small business – nothing global – and be prosperous. These will be booming by yr 2010. This is the year to realize your dreams. Letting things ride just doesn’t work anymore. We will be getting back to follow the American dream mentality. See housing market slowing move upwards in the mid summer late, July or early August but it won’t be a bubble again.

Underlying concern related to Obama. There will be a very close call that can be stopped, possibly by giving up blackberry. Fortunately, they will be fine. When this occurs, we will rally again because you don’t threaten little kids.

See Hillary Clinton stepping up as Secretary of State. When she comes into her office, she will take a major roll in settling down this Middle East problem. People listen to her and respect her on a leadership level. She will be very active in this administration and will run 2016.

There is a sense of coming back on family matters. There is a tax relief for middle class people Opportunities for a new middle class to arrive that will be based on good principles, work ethics, competition, cooperation. We will still be able to pursue our business and economic dreams, but you won’t see it with massive fortunes who are philanthropist with their fortunes. You won’t see greed and stinginess as in the past.

Will have a serious issue of bringing individuals to justice that have played upon the American people financially especially in 2010. Will see supreme court decisions, also a supreme court nominee that is female.

Local weather

Stock up on canned goods. There will be drought or famine in middle part of country near the middle of summer. There will be food shortage and rationing. Will have mild temperature and very little rain. Not long lived but will see for couple of years.

Don’t get too comfortable with the mild winter. February will bring sleet, snow and bitter cold temperatures. There are no power outages, but will be very treacherous on the roads.

Chiefs Herm Edwards will be here one more year. They will let him finish out his contract. Chiefs will bring in someone unexpected after him from the East that will put together a good team. Also it will be an ok year 8 - 8 season. No playoff this year but will be in playoffs 2 years from now. Someone passing that has been important to the Chiefs – Dick Vermeil.
